Logging Conversions

Keeping track and accessing conversions

Screenshot of Olminator's Log section

In order to keep track of individual conversion runs – triggered either via the Home section or the Viewer section – Olminator logs every such operation. The most recent conversion will always shop up at the top of the list, i.e. entries are sorted from newest at the top to oldest at the bottom.

Whether all or just some of the items were successfully converted, whether warnings or errors occured, when the conversion took place and how long it took – all of this gets stored in the Conversion Log and can be access later on.

Olminator will also log the input .olm archive converted, whether the entire archive or just a sub-folder was converted, and where the conversion output can be found.

You can click the links referencing the input .olm archive and the output folder. If still existing and accessible, the input .olm file will then be opened in Olminator as new input file, whereas the output folder will be opened in Finder, giving you access to the detailed conversion log files for this particular conversion run as well as to the conversion output itself.

If either the input file or the output folder have been deleted in the meantime, the infos about the original location will be presented, but the locations will be marked with the text "[inaccessible]" and clicking will show no effect.

As the name suggests, clicking the button Clear Log will do as it says.
